Sulzer Orthopedics Hip Recall
If you or someone you know has had hip replacement surgery
since July 1997, your health may be at risk if the implant used was the
INTER-OP, manufactured by Sulzer Orthopedics. If your hip replacement surgery
has failed as a result of a faulty implanted device, you may be eligible to file
a legal claim against Sulzer Orthopedics to seek financial compensation.
Recently, Sulzer Orthopedics, a major international
manufacturer of artificial joints, has recalled thousands of hip implants
produced since 1997. Due to defective manufacturing, some implants tend to
loosen within the body causing pain and discomfort. Some patients have required
a new implant. If you have experienced hip-related discomfort after recent
surgery, you should contact your doctor immediately to determine if you received
an implant from Sulzer Orthopedics.
If you or someone you know suffer from a defective hip joint
replacement (implanted from 1997 to the present), we may be able to help you
understand and exercise your legal rights.
